Meet Amanda R. Gyasi
DNP, APRN, FNP-BC
Dr. Amanda Gyasi is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner, credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has a strong foundation in clinical leadership, primary care, and integrative wellness. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valdosta State University in 2015 and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Arizona in 2019, where her doctoral project focused on Improving Dietary Habits in African American Patients with Essential Hypertension.
Her clinical experience spans multiple states and healthcare systems. She began her nursing career as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse and advanced into a leadership role as a Charge Nurse, strengthening her abilities in patient care coordination, team leadership, and clinical decision-making. She expanded into roles as a Travel Nurse in California and Minnesota, gaining valuable experience in diverse settings.
To further enhance her expertise as an advanced practice provider, she completed the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Residency Program at the Atlanta Veterans Affairs, a highly-regarded program known for its comprehensive training in Veteran-centered care, chronic disease management, and evidence-based practice.
Her excellence in clinical care has been recognized through multiple honors, including The Daisy Award (Piedmont Rockdale, 2016), Nurse of the Year (Piedmont Rockdale, 2019), and being a two-time nominee for Nurse Practitioner of the Year at the Atlanta VA. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
As the founder of Aycar Integrative Health, she leads a nurse practitioner-driven practice specializing in integrative health, weight management, and comprehensive primary care delivered through flexible, patient-centered telehealth services. Her practice reflects a commitment to personalized, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based care. Aycar was created to bridge that gap, giving patients the care they deserve on their schedule.
Her mission is to empower individuals to achieve long-term wellness through accessible, high-quality healthcare and a collaborative, supportive patient experience.
